Biography
Emily Broussard is currently a high school teacher for Knox County Schools, where she was recently named Teacher of the Year (2010). In her years of teaching, Broussard has been involved with Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID), a nonprofit that changes lives by helping schools shift to a more equitable, student-centered approach, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
